For $39.99 a month or 479.88 per year, you can partner with PuentesDR through our sponsorship programHelp a child journey toward a bright future with your support, friendship and encouragement! When you sponsor a child, your monthly gift of  $39.99 supports not only basic necessities, but provides medical needs, and aids for their education such as uniforms and classroom supplies, by doing so, you are helping break the cycle of poverty. Having their basic needs met, you are empowering families to focus on the family unit and developing their God given potential in the Dominican Republic.

WHY SPONSOR?        |      Your support and sponsorship donations will enable us to meet our goals to improve conditions for maximum impact in the communities

WHAT DOES MY SPONSORSHIP INCLUDE?      |     Your generous donation (2 shares available per child) will fund our mission by providing good nutrition, health care and medicine, education, and a positive support system in their community

IS IT A MONTHLY SPONSORSHIP?   |   Yes. Your monthly sponsorship helps to address the specific needs and empowers the child and their families,

WHY ARE THERE 2 SHARES PER CHILD TO BE FULLY SPONSORED? |. Each child has two shares to be fully sponsored to ensure they are getting what they need each month. Each child has different needs. but each child is in need of 2 shares to fully provide what they need for their medical, nutritional and educational needs

WHAT ABOUT COMMUNICATION?     |   Communication with your sponsored child is done through sponsorship letters twice a year. 

Children benefit by:

• Interacting with his/her sponsor through letters.
• Children receive a backpack and school supplies.
• Having a safe space to learn and interact with others during weekly Bible studies
• During Christmas, the family receives a special food box
• Regular home visits by the PuentesDR child coordinator  
• Seeing evidence of God's working with them.

Sponsors have the opportunity to:

• Communicate with their sponsored child through letters
• Receive letters from their child
• Visit their sponsored child, meet the child's family, and see the child's home
• Invest financially in the well-being of a child who lives in an impoverished home and community
• On a regular basis receive photos showing the child's growth
