It's that time of year again! We need your help as we prepare to send our children back to school.
Education is very important to PuentesDR. Each child sponsored has a need for basic supplies that parents, some unemployed and sponsorship alone cannot fulfill. Many are not able to get all the items on the schools list go to school without. You can be a part of equipping ALL our kids to continue achieving amazing things by helping us get ready to go "back to school."
We have kids enrolled in our program that attend public, private and even special ed schools. Although public schools are mostly free of charge in the DR, we do incur "back to school" expenses for our school age kids. The costs of required school uniforms, shoes, backpacks, tuition for our private and special ed schools, add up quickly for our 100 school aged kids.
We currently serve over 100 kids weekly through Bible Studies in 4 separate communities. Not all of these kids are sponsored individually.
We would love if you would consider sponsoring one of the children from the three communities at $50 each.
